A farewell to the series and thanks to Lancia

Yesterday we had the last day in the series of poems in my book Waiting on the Word, a poem a day for Advent Christmas and Epiphany, for which I had been posting a recording and an accompanying image from Lancia Smith each day. Today I want to give you an extra ‘epilogue image she has sent me, and also another image on the meaning of Advent itself, and take this occasion to say an enormous thank you to her for her generosity and commitment in this project. If you haven’t already done so do pop over to her excellent site ‘Cultivating the True, the Good and the Beautiful‘ and subscribe, so that you don’t miss out on the other good things she has to offer.

Thank you all for accompanying us on our journey. I will continue to post seasonal poems here but will also, shortly be sharing some of the poems that will be in my new book Parable and Paradox which is due out in June. If you have enjoyed reading a poem a day with my commentaries in Advent you might like to know there is a companion volume ‘The Word in the Wilderness’ which takes you through Lent and Holy week to Easter and is available through your local bookshop or from AmazonUK or AmazonUS or in Canada from Signpost Music
